Hello, dear readers and guests of the Electrician's Notes website.

Last time I posted it on the site (code EB 1260.5).

And now the next step is the electrical safety test for group 4 above 1000 (V) 2017 (EB code 1259.5).

And as always, all questions for the test are taken from the official website of Rostechnadzor, and the answer options fully correspond to the well-known OLIMPOX program.

Test code for group 4 above 1000 (B) - EB 1259.5. It is located in the section:

  • Energy security
  • Operation of consumer electrical installations
  • EB 1259.5 Training and testing of knowledge of managers, specialists, electrical and electrotechnological personnel of organizations operating consumer electrical installations (IV group on electrical safety above 1000 V)

The test is divided into 7 main topics.

For each topic, online tests have been compiled with questions and answer options. Only, unlike, now the test has not 993 questions, but only 506.

By and large, the questions in the test remained the same, but their number was almost halved. There were alsosome questions were formulated more correctly, answer options were changed and Errors in answers have been fixed (we actively discussed them in the comments). In addition, completely new questions were added to the test, although there are not many of them.

At the end of the test, you will be presented with a final table with the results, which will display questions with serial numbers, your answers and correct answers with a link to the paragraph of the relevant Rules. If the answer is correct, the line will be shaded green, if the answer is incorrect, the line will be colored red. Nothing new, everything is the same as in .

Once again the exam has undergone some changes. Now each ticket will have 10 questions, as in the 2015 tests, and you are allowed to make 3 mistakes.

What megohmmeter is used to measure insulation resistance when testing circuits with voltages from 500 to 1000 V?

Hello, dear readers and guests of the Electrician's Notes website.

Back in April, I told you that the Interindustry Rules for Occupational Safety and Health during the Operation of Electrical Installations (POT R M-016-2001, RD 153-34.0-03.150) were being cancelled, and instead of them, new Rules for Occupational Safety and Health during the Operation of Electrical Installations, abbreviated as POT, were being introduced. EU or POTEU. Follow the link to, where you can read more about this and download the new Rules in a format convenient for you.

According to PTEEP, clause 1.4.23, after the entry into force of the new Rules, all electrical and electrotechnological personnel, state inspectors and labor protection specialists monitoring electrical installations, in mandatory need to go through them extraordinary inspection knowledge.

Rostekhnadzor issued official letter, where he indicated the following: if there are less than 6 months left before the next test, then the extraordinary and regular knowledge tests can be combined and carried out on one date. I will not post the entire letter, here is a scanned copy of an excerpt from the letter:

Last year I took my exams in mid-December, which means I have 4 months left before the next test. In this regard, I had to undergo training and knowledge testing not only on the new Rules on labor protection during the operation of electrical installations (POTEU), but also on the entire volume of regulatory documents.

Here are the previous ones online tests, which you can access on my website:

I introduced you to previous tests in a timely manner, and this time is no exception. Especially for you, I have created an up-to-date online electrical safety test for 2014, taking into account the introduced new Rules. You will have the opportunity to prepare for the exam or simply test your knowledge level.

Just like last year, the employer paid for our training. The procedure is standard: preparation for the exams was carried out in training center using the training program “OLIMP:OKS” (website: olimp-oks.ru), and a month later an exam was taken on computers in the form of a test at the regional branch of Rostechnadzor.

By the way, I would like to note that for the last two years we have been going for exams to the regional Rostechnadzor, and before we took all exams at the local (city) one.

In previous articles, I already told you that this program is paid. Access to training materials and tests for preparation for one day is 500 rubles, for 3 days - 700 rubles, and for 7 days - 1600 rubles. Prices are as of the date of publication of this article.

I suggest you once again take this test completely free of charge on my website.

So, let's go.

Online electrical safety test 2014-2015 (group 5)

Course code - EB 305.2. It is located in the section:

  • Energy security
  • G1. Requirements for operating procedures in consumer electrical installations
  • EB 305.2 “Training and testing the knowledge of electrical and electrical engineering personnel on electrical safety (V clearance group)”

The exam preparation course is divided into 6 main sections. Online control tests have been compiled for each section. There are 218 questions in the tests. The questions fully comply with the editions of the Rostechnadzor certification commission.

After successfully passing the exam, I received a protocol for testing my knowledge of the rules of working in electrical installations. The final commission assigned me group V for electrical safety and allowed me to work as administrative and technical personnel of the enterprise with the right to carry out tests and measurements in electrical installations up to and above 1000 (V).

If you respect my efforts and works, then you can express your gratitude to me by transferring the amount as you see fit. Thank you very much.

Addition: Attention! In 2016, questions in electrical safety tests changed. Check with the Rostechnadzor departments at the place where you took the exam, because in many regions the 2015 tests are still in effect. And here is a link to (code EB 1260.2), the same test is suitable for preparing for exams for group 4 (code EB 1259.2).

P.S. I hope that these tests will help you prepare for the exams and pass them perfectly. No fluff, no feather.

THANK YOU so much for the very useful information in the article. Everything is presented very clearly. It feels like a lot of work has been done to analyze the operation of the eBay store

    • Thank you and other regular readers of my blog. Without you, I would not have been motivated enough to dedicate much time to maintaining this site. My brain is structured this way: I like to dig deep, systematize scattered data, try things that no one has done before or looked at from this angle. It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

      • Next

What is valuable in your articles is your personal attitude and analysis of the topic. Don't give up this blog, I come here often. There should be a lot of us like that. Email me I recently received an email with an offer that they would teach me how to trade on Amazon and eBay. And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet. I wish you good luck and stay safe in Asia.

  • It’s also nice that eBay’s attempts to Russify the interface for users from Russia and the CIS countries have begun to bear fruit. After all, the overwhelming majority of citizens of the countries of the former USSR do not have strong knowledge of foreign languages. No more than 5% of the population speak English. There are more among young people. Therefore, at least the interface is in Russian - this is a big help for online shopping on this trading platform. eBay did not follow the path of its Chinese counterpart Aliexpress, where a machine (very clumsy and incomprehensible, sometimes causing laughter) translation of product descriptions is performed. I hope that at a more advanced stage of development of artificial intelligence, high-quality machine translation from any language to any in a matter of seconds will become a reality. So far we have this (the profile of one of the sellers on eBay with a Russian interface, but an English description):
