How to remove label glue from glass, household appliances and other surfaces
Sticky labels, stickers and price tags are used to decorate literally everything: dishes, clothes, household appliances, furniture, cars, stationery, children's toys. Sometimes the sticker comes off quite easily - just pry it with your fingernail and pull. But often a small piece of paper with adhesive backing creates a real problem. You can remove the glue from the label from the glass in different ways, which are also suitable for other materials.
1
General recommendations
Any sticker must be removed immediately after purchasing the product. This rule also applies to adhesive tape, be it stationery, packaging or construction tape. If this is not done, the adhesive mass will set tightly and it will be very difficult to remove the sticker.
For gluing labels and price tags, manufacturers use various types glue. It's good if it's water soluble. Then just wet the sticky marks hot water and wait until the glue dissolves. If we're talking about O glassware, which easily tolerates high temperatures, then a jar, bottle or plate can be soaked in hot water, completely immersing the part of the item where the label is glued. After 10-15 minutes the sticker will come off glass surface, and the problem will be solved.
However, the most problematic are those stickers that are placed on adhesive composition, insoluble in water.
In this case, various improvised means come to the rescue:
vegetable oil;
cleaning powders;
vinegar;
white spirit;
petrol;
alcohol;
cologne;
acetone or similar solvents;
nail polish remover.
Sometimes an ordinary household hair dryer, which is used to dry hair at home, helps out. If you direct a stream of hot air at the label and heat it, the glue will soften and come off easily. But even high temperature It does not always help to immediately clean the surface from sticky traces, so after heating you need to use one of the listed products.
The results of exposure to a chemical or food product can be unpredictable, and appearance the item being cleaned may be damaged. For example, a cloudy stain will appear on the shiny plastic of the microwave door or the paint will come off from the car body. Therefore, before you wipe off the adhesive layer from the entire surface of the dishes, household appliance or furniture, test the product on an inconspicuous area.

How can I remove glue?
Depending on the material from which the surface to be cleaned is made, various methods are used.
The most effective are:
Vegetable oil. Can be used for any materials that do not absorb oil and can be washed - glass, porcelain, metal, plastic, painted or polished wood, enamel. Not suitable for upholstered furniture, veneer and untreated wood. The principle of application is very simple: remove top layer labels using a dry method or pre-soak them in water, cover the adhesive stain with oil (sunflower, corn, olive, essential), after 10-30 minutes, wipe off the adhesive with a rag or paper napkin, wash off the remaining oil with any detergent.
Alcohol. Medical alcohol, cologne or vodka are good at removing price tags and labels from dishes - porcelain, glass, enamel and ceramic. Apply an alcohol-containing substance to the glue stain using a cotton swab or cloth, wait 5-10 minutes and wash off the remaining glue and alcohol with dishwashing gel.
Detergent. Helps remove stickers from clothes and upholstered furniture. It is enough to wet the contaminated area with a sponge dipped in soapy water, wait until the price tag gets wet, and remove it. True, after such a procedure, the clothes will have to be washed, but this cannot be considered a disadvantage of the method - experts advise that new things and linen be washed before the first use.
Acetone-free nail polish remover. Helps remove stickers from glossy packaging, books, notepads and more stationery. Heat the pre-treated surface with a hairdryer, rub the remaining glue with a cotton pad soaked in nail polish remover.
Refined gasoline or white spirit. Suitable for upholstered furniture, plastic, glass and unpainted wood, but may damage fragile paint or delicate surfaces. When removing the adhesive layer, you need to rub the stain with a piece of cloth soaked in the preparation and rinse with water and any detergent.
Scotch. This method is from the “wedge by wedge” category. It works well to remove fresh stickers and price tags small size until the layer of glue underneath has hardened. You need to firmly stick the adhesive tape onto the label and pull it sharply. If glue traces remain on the surface of the object, the manipulation must be repeated several times until the glue stain completely disappears.
A regular office eraser can also be used to remove labels and adhesive stains from hard surfaces. With its help, it is easy to clean small-sized stains, but for large areas it is better to use other means.
Sometimes there is a need to clean glass jar or a bottle from a sticker, to later be used for household purposes (canning, food storage) or decoration. Labels can be removed mechanically– soak in water, scrape off the paper with a knife, and rub any traces of glue remaining on the glass with a steel wool. Glass is the only material that is not afraid of chemicals, no abrasives, no mechanical impact.

Special means
The problem of removing labels has become so urgent that manufacturers have started producing special products that help clean glue stains from tape or stickers. These drugs are produced in the form of aerosols and are not cheap, but if there is no other choice, it is better to spend money on buying a spray can than to ruin the paint of the body new car, refrigerator or plastic furniture for the dacha.
According to user reviews, the following have proven themselves to be the best:
Scotch Remover, adhesive and label cleaner – contains a mixture citrus oils, removes traces of tape, stickers, ink, tar, resin and other components;
Fine Glass glass cleaner – cleans traces of glue, dust, grease, dirt without streaks, suitable for ceramics, chrome surfaces and electrical appliances;
universal cleaner Profoam 2000 – removes traces of glue and marker on different surfaces;
ASTROhim anti-adhesive tape – removes remnants of adhesive tape, stickers and sticky tapes, suitable for glass, metal, ceramics, plastic, does not spoil the painted surface;
Liqui Moly sticker trace cleaner – effectively eliminates sticker marks and labels, contains natural ingredients;
Those who consider it inappropriate to purchase an expensive product to remove one or two labels can try various improvised means that have proven themselves well in the “cleaning” business:
vinegar;
micellar water;
spray for preliminary removal of stains from clothes;
cleaner for bitumen stains;
glass liquid;
baking soda;
antistatic spray for clothes.
Many stickers can be easily removed using water steam: for 5-10 minutes you need to hold the label over a saucepan in which water is boiling, remove the sticker with your hands, and wipe off traces of glue with a dry cloth.
If we are talking about empty bottle, then you can pour boiling water into it and after 5 minutes just remove the sticker with your hands.

Many people are interested in how to remove different surfaces sticker glue. Nowadays, manufacturers are trying in every possible way to decorate their goods, and if they don’t decorate, then put forced markings on the goods, and this leads to inconvenience in everyday life. There are many ways to cope with this problem, but you need to understand that there are different surfaces and where one method will bring 100% results, on another surface it may be absolutely ineffective, and may even cause damage. Should not be deleted sticky layer mechanically, this may cause damage.

Kitchen utensils

If you have problems with:

  • Dishes (plates, cups, wine glasses, shot glasses)
  • Tile (tiles)

Often it helps simply hot water and detergent, but it all depends on the type of glue and how long the sticker was on the surface.

  1. A very light and affordable way. Will need cotton pad(possibly a piece of natural white cloth, but most importantly soft so that it does not leave scratches) and nail polish remover (acetone). Then everything is simple, apply the liquid to the cotton wool and remove the remaining sticky substance. Be sure to rinse well with water after this procedure.
  2. Housewives also practice another method: moisten a cloth in sunflower oil and remove the remaining stickers. This method is effective especially with remnants of the sticker itself.
  3. Table vinegar is also suitable for such materials. Simply apply to the surface itself or to a napkin ( paper towel, soft cloth, cotton pad) and remove all remnants of price tags and markings using removing movements.

Household appliances

This group of products has not been spared by stickers. Here you need to understand that there is paint on the surface, or the product is made of plastic, here you need a soft method that will not damage the surface or spoil the appearance.

  • Refrigerators;
  • Washing machines;
  • Hairdryer, curling iron;
  • TVs;
  • Electric meat grinders, juicers;
  • Microwave ovens;
  • Coffee makers;
  • Small electrical appliances.

It must be taken into account that the work will involve electricity and equipment, and precautions are needed. It is necessary to ensure that no water gets inside the devices during processing, since stickers are often glued to joints and crevices.

  1. For these types of surfaces, a hairdryer is often used; a hot air stream copes with this task. For this method you will need: a cloth soaked in any neutral kitchen product and the hairdryer itself. First you need to warm up the sticker using a hot stream of air, then remove the sticker itself with a rag. If this procedure does not completely help the first time, it can be repeated. If the plastic is very thin, there is no need to use this method to avoid damage from hot air.
  2. For these surfaces it will be appropriate and sunflower oil, but in cases where the sticker was not applied a couple of years ago and has not fused with the material. It is better to apply it and let it absorb a little, then roll it up with a rag or paper towel. Do not use mechanical cleaning so as not to damage the surface.
  3. Citrus-based cleaning agents containing citric acid are helpful. To do this, apply the substance and let it stand for a while, then remove it with a rag or paper napkins.

Double-glazed plastic windows, window sills, slopes

Although these materials are not very delicate, they have their own subtleties. Cannot be used rough materials, they leave scratches. Solvents may leave stains. Therefore, it is better to be patient.

  1. It will be convenient to use a cleaning agent that contains citric acid. Often the composition includes citric acid in exactly the same cleaning products that are intended for washing windows. This is convenient because you don’t have to deal with stains on the glass after removing the stickers. The cleaning mechanism itself is the same as when washing windows, with only one difference: it is better to apply the product and let it soak in a little, since the paper dries firmly and reliably to the material. If a regular rag does not help when removing, you can use a sponge or spatula, but always with rounded ends. Do not use sharp or rough materials when cleaning.
  2. Cleaning that uses a highly concentrated solution is well suited. laundry soap. You need to apply generously and let it soak in, after which you can use a sponge or spatula, but always with rounded ends. Then rinse with clean water.
  3. You can still use the same vegetable oil, but, of course, it will leave greasy solutions, which is bad for glass, but vinegar, acetone or white spirit will help here.

Wood and furniture

Here you need to be very careful when cleaning. Tree natural material, which is easily damaged.

  1. If the wood is not treated, painted, it tolerates temperature well, then you can use a hair dryer and hot air. Heat the area to be cleaned and carefully remove the sticky layer. This tree also tolerates alcohol-containing products well. Using a moistened napkin or rag gradually removes dirt.
  2. If the furniture is varnished, polished, a lotion from vegetable oil. You need to apply a cloth or napkin previously soaked in oil, let it absorb and remove the sticky substance. But it is worth cleaning in small areas.
  3. If you clean with alcohol or gasoline, you need to remember that it contains caustic substances that need to be quickly and completely removed from the furniture.

Cars

Car enthusiasts often encounter problems with adhesive substances on their auto. In these cases, the same hair dryer helps, only instead of a regular hair dryer, a construction hair dryer will do. A cleaner containing citric acid is also suitable. Regular gasoline is also used.

Clothing and fabric surfaces

When working with fabric, you need to understand that the material can be dyed and precautions must be taken. Do not use very hot water; when using chemicals, be sure that it will not cause harm; if the method involves friction, this must be done delicately and patiently.

  1. Laundry soap will help, if you can wash it, then it is better to pre-soak the item. If this is not possible, then apply a soap solution (high concentration of laundry soap), let it absorb well, but not dry, and wash it off with a sponge or rag.
  2. Sprays are also suitable for removing stains and cleaning cuffs and collars. But here you need to be careful, since there are fabrics that do not tolerate such treatment.
  3. Alcohol is suitable, for this we need to apply it, let it absorb well, but not dry, and use dishwashing detergent and a rag to remove any remaining glue. Then rinse well with hot water.

There are products that are designed specifically to combat these problems, but chemical composition not always safe for humans. Safe and less expensive are more profitable. It is also practiced to remove glue with ordinary wet wipes, if it is not an old sticker. They also use a school eraser, which is suitable for hard surfaces that are not afraid of friction.

Often alcohol, kerosene, solvents and essential oils, But different colors and types of surfaces have a reaction that cannot be predicted, since the composition may be different and the end result is not what is expected.

We kindly ask you to thoroughly rinse the treated surface after each manipulation with any product you use. Also, do not use a removal method that is not intended for this surface. If you are not sure whether the surface and method match, it is better to check on an inconspicuous small area and check the reaction.

It is worth remembering that all stickers are made from different materials, even the glue may differ slightly in composition. You've probably noticed that not all stickers cause problems.

Stickers are made from different materials, which may vary the difficulty of removing them.

So, in accordance with the nature of the plastic or glass surface and the characteristics of the material from which the sticker is made, the tools that may be needed are selected. In general, you need to choose from these:

  • Label off;
  • Amway;
  • lighter fluid;
  • kerosene;
  • sheets of white paper;
  • mayonnaise;
  • melamine sponge;
  • ammonia;
  • vegetable oil;
  • napkins;
  • scotch;
  • alcohol;
  • glass cleaner;
  • nail polish remover;
  • old plastic card;
  • rag;
  • vinegar;
  • iron;
  • citrus-based cleaning products;
  • essential oils.

10 ways to get rid of glue

Now let’s move on directly to considering methods that will tell you how to wash glue from labels from glass and plastic.

This can only be done if the sticker came off quite easily, but you would like to finally get rid of the slightly sticky mark. Here you can simply use your fingers, rub along the glue trail until it rolls into a small ball, which you then remove and throw away.

Rub your finger over the stained area and roll a ball of glue

You can find vegetable oil in any apartment. It doesn’t matter what it is, olive or sunflower, just keep in mind that sunflower is thinner and cheaper. This oil will help you remove the adhesive from the sticker.

And now to the technology. Prepare oil and a piece of cotton cloth, or optionally a paper towel. Soak the cloth in oil and carefully work over the adhesive mark. You can wait a little, about ten minutes, until the oil saturates the dirt. After ten minutes the glue will be very soft and can be easily removed.

You can scrape off the glue using your fingers, there plastic card, knife or ruler.

Use sunflower or olive oil

After this, the fat from the surface of the object must be washed off; soap or dishwashing detergent will be indispensable for this.

By the way, instead of oils, you can use other oil-containing substances, such as mayonnaise.

You can try using essential oils, but keep in mind that they will not work on absolutely any type of plastic and may leave stains.

To avoid this, test the oil on an inconspicuous area, if everything is fine, continue the procedure.

Essential oils are also good for coping with the problem.

The algorithm of actions is the same as in the case of regular oil. This product can be washed off with either glass cleaner or regular detergent or soap.

Citrus-containing cleaners will also be effective in removing label adhesive from plastic.

By citrus we mean citric acid; it has the property that we need - to corrode sticky substances.

There are several options for which product to choose, here are common examples:

  • 3M (industrial cleaner);
  • Mister Muscle.

Mister Muscle Cleanser

After cleaning, wipe off the product with a cloth and rinse with water.

Proven medical alcohol may work just as well citric acid, and you don’t have to use it in its pure form, you can use deodorant, cologne, vodka or even perfume, if you don’t mind, of course.

Take a sponge and soak it in alcohol, then thoroughly rub the surface with glue.

Medical alcohol

By the way, keep in mind that alcohol, like essential oils, needs to be tested in an inconspicuous place; the reaction of the material may be unexpected.

Masking tape can only help with fresh glue, but if it has been drying for a day, two... a year, then this option is unlikely to suit you.

Masking tape

You need to fix the tape in your hand (sticky side out) and blot it (with jerky, sudden movements) spot. It may not help the first time, then try repeating the procedure again.

Now let's talk about the method of removing already dried glue. Otherwise, it doesn’t matter what degree of freshness it has, vinegar will corrode anyone.

You will need a sponge soaked in table vinegar(not concentrated, otherwise you risk your hands and the integrity of the item you are cleaning). Take it and wipe the dirt until the glue completely remains on the sponge or dissolves.

Dampen a sponge with vinegar and clean the stains

After the procedure, wipe the surface with a cloth, if necessary. You can repeat it.

Method 8

Few people will like the next method, but it is also effective. You will need kerosene or liquefied gas(refill for lighters). Again. Test the substance, it may have a detrimental effect on plastics.

Many things and goods, including books, household and electronic appliances, dishes, cars, have a manufacturer's label or barcode, and sometimes a price tag. Often these stickers are located in the most inappropriate places and spoil the appearance of the products.

However, removing the label is not so easy, since they are glued with high-strength adhesive. This is done so that the sticker does not fall off during transportation and transportation of the goods.

Typically, label removal is done mechanically, when the sticker is pryed off with a fingernail or sharp object and try to pick it out. However, often the glued label is removed only in small pieces, leaving particles on the surface, despite the applied efforts.

In addition, after removal, unsightly marks from stickers, paper or glue remain on the products. And sharp objects can scratch things.

Vinegar and gasoline are only suitable for glass items. Apply a little of the selected product to a cotton pad, treat the surface and then remove the remaining label with a knife or other sharp object. Then wash the area with a damp cloth and wipe dry.

After the procedure, thoroughly wipe the surface with a solution for washing windows, glass and mirrors. Do not use brushes, rough or hard sponges to avoid scratching and damaging the glass. It is not recommended to use motor gasoline as it leaves streaks. Take a gasoline lighter.

For plastic dishes cleaning methods can be used plastic products. Essential oils are suitable for ceramic dishes; for porcelain and other types of material - baking soda.

In the latter case, a glass of soda is dissolved in a saucepan with hot water, where the product is lowered and left for half an hour. As a result, the label will fall off on its own. Remember that you cannot use a sticker!

Five ways to remove a label from a book

A hairdryer will help you quickly and effectively remove stickers from plastic. Carefully pry up the corner of the label with a sharp object and use the hot air of a hair dryer to warm the sticker for a minute. Then remove the stroke and wipe the surface with a damp cloth or cloth. Instead of a hairdryer, you can use boiling water or steam, but be careful not to melt the plastic!

Vegetable oil is an affordable remover of stickers and adhesive traces from plastic products. Take sunflower, olive or rapeseed oil, apply to the desired surface and leave for at least a day.

In this case, it is advisable to saturate the plastic with oil every hour to simplify and speed up the process. After waiting time, remove the remaining glued paper with a damp cloth.

Easier ways are to use a school eraser or wet disinfectant wipes. The disinfectant composition will destroy the adhesive base in a few minutes and help get rid of the label.

To speed up the process, sprinkle problem area salt and then wipe with a napkin. An eraser will also remove the glued paper, and the remaining labels are removed with a light cloth soaked in a soapy solution.

How to remove an old label and remove traces of glue from plastic

If the label remained on the plastic for a long time, easy methods will not help. IN in this case need to use more concentrated products. White spirit works great. Mix the solvent with water.

Use only a weak solution to avoid damaging the plastic coating. Soak a cotton pad in the resulting mixture and soak the adhesive base. Wait ten minutes and wipe the product with a damp cloth or napkin.

The special product WD 40 will help to effectively remove stickers from plastic products. This composition quickly penetrates and loosens the adhesive composition, disinfects and cleans. Typically, WD 40 is used to lubricate locks and various mechanisms, as well as to remove rust.

By the way, read how to remove rust at home. However, the product is also suitable for removing labels from plastic.

WD 40 aerosol is sprayed at a distance of ten centimeters from the surface of plastic products and the composition is left for ten minutes, then the residue is removed with a damp cloth.

Instead of of this composition you can take alcohol, acetone or nail polish remover. Apply the solution to a cotton pad and wipe the pasted label, remove the residue with a blade or other sharp object, then wipe the product with a dry cloth.

After you remove the stickers, traces of glue may remain on the surface. This not only spoils the appearance of the product, but also contributes to the darkening of this area. In addition, dust and dirt will quickly stick to the sticky area. Peanut butter can remove traces of glue. Apply a little product to the sticky area, wait two to three minutes and then rinse off soap solution.

Masking or regular tape will 100% cope with sticker marks. Place the tape with the sticky side on the problem area and tear it off sharply. Then some of the glue will stick to the tape. Repeat the procedure with a new piece of tape until the remaining glue is completely removed.

If masking tape or you don't have peanut butter on hand, use regular baking soda. However, be careful, otherwise the concentrated solution will scratch the plastic. To avoid this, dilute the baking soda well. warm water. Apply the resulting paste to the sticky area and leave for five minutes. Then wash the plastic items with a soft cloth and warm water.

The list of stickers that may appear on car glass is quite wide. Tuning and logos from manufacturers, advertising, parking passes, sticky pictures left by children. Over time, the need arises to change the pasted sticker or remove it completely. How to remove a sticker from glass without damaging your car?

Method number 1: hot water

Any sticker - paper, vinyl or LED - is first glued to an adhesive base. The easiest way to remove a pasted pattern is to soak its adhesive layer. If the sticker was attached relatively recently, the bottom layer of glue can be softened and washed off with hot water.

To do this, take hot (60 - 70 °C) water, moisten a cloth with it and cover the sticker on the glass with the cloth. After 5 - 10 minutes, the rag is moistened with water again. Next, they try to carefully remove the soaked layers of paper and glue, also with a cloth. Note: the water should be moderately hot; you should not pour boiling water on the glass.

Advantages of the method:

  • cheap and accessible;
  • non-toxic to humans;
  • non-traumatic for the machine.

More detailed information Read about its features and advantages in the material of our specialist.

What is the disadvantage of the method? Dissolves the adhesive of stickers that were recently applied. Those pictures that were stuck on a long time ago have aged glue. It is difficult to dissolve with hot water.

Method No. 2: warming up or temperature action

This method can be used for “aged” stickers. Their adhesive layer is partially changed. Short-term heating of the glass surface leads to the softening of the old glue, which makes it possible to remove the sticker without leaving any traces.

In order to pry off the pasted sticker, you can use a plastic card. It does not have sharp corners that could scratch the surface of the car glass.

If the glue is very old, then it will not be possible to remove the sticker without a trace immediately and quickly. You will have to work hard and spend time. What should you consider? Some glasses change color (slightly or strongly) due to severe overheating.

Sticker on rear window requires the most careful removal if it is glued from the back.

Very old glue It cannot be heated even with a hair dryer. We will have to turn to the achievements of chemistry. The auto chemicals department will tell you how to remove a sticker from a car glass using modern methods.

Method number 3: household chemicals

To remove the old sticker, use special means– liquids, solutions, aerosols. They are sold under the following trade names:

  • "sticker remover";
  • "glue remover";
  • “sticker removal solution”;
  • “liquid for removing labels and traces of tape”;
  • “to remove traces of glue”, etc.

To clean your car glass, choose not common remedy for cleaning windows in a household chemical store, but a special one. Buy specific products made for cars. Its instructions must indicate its automotive purpose. Such products are sold exclusively in auto chemical departments. Their marking “for cars” guarantees the safety of the glass of your vehicle.

Chemical decal removers can be liquids or aerosols.

In order to remove the sticker, you must follow the instructions included with the drug. It is usually recommended to apply the product to the surface of the sticker, hold it for a while and then remove the peeling paper and glue with a cloth. What problems may arise during the removal process with a chemical agent?

Adhesive base under paper or coating under the influence of the sun and temperature at windshield may undergo changes. It can turn from a soft glue into a hard substance resembling plastic. A chemical reagent applied to its surface can only remove part of the old glue, its top layer. What to do in this case? It is necessary to apply the adhesive remover again to remove all of its residue. So, in several passes, you can remove a sticker that has been hanging on the rear or windshield for several years.

Note: Since household chemicals can be aggressive, you may need latex gloves to protect your hands. The need to work with gloves is also written in the instructions for the product.

Remedy No. 4: alcohol, acetone

If you need to remove the sticker as quickly as possible (you were stopped by a traffic police inspector, and there is an advertising sticker on the windshield in the wrong place), try using the one you have on hand household chemicals. Acetone, alcohol or (for female drivers) nail polish remover.

To apply these liquids to paper sticker– you need to wet a cloth or cotton wool with it and then put it on the sticker. If the sticker is vinyl, you will have to pull off its top layer with your hands, using a plastic card. After removing the top colored layer (paper or vinyl with a printed pattern), apply alcohol or acetone to the glue.

Acetone is not suitable for removing stickers from the body.

On paint coating a stain may remain. How to remove a sticker without traces or random stains?

Remedy No. 5: WD Solvent

Another product that you may have on hand or in the garage is WD rust remover. By the way, it not only helps to “unscrew” a rusted bolt. WD also removes rust from clothing. How to use this sticker remover?

The liquid is poured onto a cloth, which is then placed on the sticker. If the sticker is vinyl, you need to place a wet cloth above it so that the liquid flows under its vinyl layer. After 15 - 20 minutes, you can try to remove the sticker.

Don't try too hard. The sticker must be removed carefully, without marks, scratches or other mechanical damage to the glass.

Here is one honest description of one driver's experience - how he removed a sticker from his car. We had to remove an advertising sticker, which lost its relevance in 1.5 months.

  1. The glass was dusty and dirty, I had to wipe it with a dry cloth and then wash it.
  2. I scoured the Internet and found a bunch of recommendations. The main ones are a hair dryer, alcohol, acetone. I chose a hairdryer. Started heating up.
  3. When heated with a hairdryer, the paper surface peeled off from the adhesive base. After which the paper was removed. But the glue remained on the glass. The outline of the sticker was made from the remaining glue. Conclusion: heating with a hairdryer is not suitable! It removes the sticker without any adhesive backing.
  4. I tried alcohol, gasoline, acetone - no effect. Just lightly smeared the remaining glue on the glass.
  5. I went into the house, took hot water and a cloth. And removed the remaining glue with hot water. During the process of washing the window, I changed the water twice so that it was as hot as possible, but not boiling water. How long can your hands and cloth endure? Conclusion: the simplest and effective remedy in inexperienced hands it’s hot water and a rag. Especially for a recently pasted sticker.

It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

Email me I recently received an email with an offer that they would teach me how to trade on Amazon and eBay. And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet. I wish you good luck and stay safe in Asia.

  • It’s also nice that eBay’s attempts to Russify the interface for users from Russia and the CIS countries have begun to bear fruit. After all, the overwhelming majority of citizens of the countries of the former USSR do not have strong knowledge of foreign languages. No more than 5% of the population speak English. There are more among young people. Therefore, at least the interface is in Russian - this is a big help for online shopping on this trading platform. eBay did not follow the path of its Chinese counterpart Aliexpress, where a machine (very clumsy and incomprehensible, sometimes causing laughter) translation of product descriptions is performed. I hope that at a more advanced stage of development of artificial intelligence, high-quality machine translation from any language to any in a matter of seconds will become a reality. So far we have this (the profile of one of the sellers on eBay with a Russian interface, but an English description):
