If there is insufficient draft in the chimney, the draft sensor will trigger and the boiler will automatically turn off (the gas supply to the boiler will stop).
The draft stabilizer is an integral and necessary part of the boiler. The size and design of the traction stabilizer is determined by the manufacturer. It is prohibited to tamper with the design of the traction stabilizer.
The traction sensor is installed in the traction stabilizer by a specialist from a specialized organization during equipment installation.
Functions of the Proterm Volk boiler controls
There is a thermomanometer on the top panel of the boiler. Thermal manometer - indicates the temperature and pressure of the coolant in the boiler, which ensures that the temperature is set correctly by the operating thermostat.
On the body of the combined gas fittings there are controls for ignition (extinguishing) of the ignition and main burners. Gas fittings will be available after opening front panel boiler

Regulator of gas fittings, which serves for:
Boiler shutdowns (including pilot burner shutdown) - designation “dot”;
- ignition of the pilot burner - designation “spark”;
- ignition of the main burner - designation of the numbers “1 - 7”.
The individual positions of the regulator are set by turning while lightly pressing the regulator handle.
Piezo ignition button - when you press the button, a spark appears to ignite the pilot burner.
The boiler also contains service elements intended only for servicing by qualified service technicians. They are located in the control unit under the control panel and are only accessible after removing the upper part of the trim

The Wolf KSO 12/16 boiler is equipped with a chimney draft control system (SKTD).
If there is insufficient draft in the chimney, the draft sensor will trigger and the boiler will automatically turn off (the gas supply to the boiler will stop).

Preparing and starting the device
Commissioning of the boiler after its installation can only be carried out by a specialist from a service organization. Check the water pressure value on the boiler pressure gauge. Open the shut-off gas tap, ensure gas supply to the boiler.
Attach the draft sensor to the draft stabilizer with two screws, then install the draft breaker on the boiler and attach it to the boiler. It is prohibited to use the boiler without a draft stabilizer installed.
Ignition of the pilot burner:
We set the gas fitting regulator to the “spark” position (rotating the gas fitting regulator to the required position is only possible by simultaneously lightly pressing it) and press the piezo ignition button several times successively and briefly.
After igniting the pilot burner, keep the gas valve regulator pressed for approximately another 10 seconds. (time required for sufficient heating of the thermocouple);
If the pilot burner goes out, repeat the process after the safety device clicks (after approximately 1 minute);
If the pilot burner is on, then set the gas valve regulator to position “1 - 7”. Setting the regulator is possible after lightly pressing and turning to the required position from 1 to 7. The main burner lights up and the boiler goes into operating mode.
The flame control on the ignition burner is carried out visually, using the hole on the burner panel (with the front panel open).
First launch of the Wolf boiler
The first start is a short-term operation of the boiler after it is connected to the heating system.
The boiler controls (working thermostat) are adjusted so that when maximum temperature coolant in the heating system, the boiler worked with as few stops (shutdowns) as possible.
The boiler control elements (working thermostat) are installed in such a way that the highest possible temperature of the coolant in the heating system is achieved and, at the same time, there are as few boiler shutdowns as possible.
Once the temperature set by the operating thermostat has been established in the room, the boiler will automatically turn off.
When the pressure in the boiler has stabilized, carefully remove air from the heating system again, and then increase the pressure to the measured value. Then cool the system.
As the temperature drops, watch for a drop in pressure. If the pressure decreases, find leaking places, isolate them and repeat the first start of the boiler.
