ATTENTION! The wire used to remove the tach signal must have a strictly analog 0 (“ground”) when the ignition is turned on, otherwise the alarm system will not be able to recognize the tach signal. In addition, on cars with a short opening time of the injectors at idle (many modern Peugeot/Citroen models), when the speed is reduced to idle, the alarm also ceases to recognize the tacho signal from the injectors; as a result, the car starts in autostart mode only on a cold engine and stalls at the same time when the speed drops, it won’t start “hot”;
• control lamp: the output is connected to any circuit that changes from a logical zero to a one after starting the engine (control lamp for generator, oil pressure, etc.). The method is extremely unreliable, since if the generator malfunctions, the starter will be overexposed (after starting the engine, it will remain on until the interval specified in the settings has expired); when linked to an oil pressure sensor, the starter power supply may be cut off before the actual moment of starting, especially in winter;
• voltage in the on-board network: the starter is cut off and the fact of engine starting is determined by an increase in the alarm supply voltage. The method can also only be used as a last resort, as it leads to overexposure of the starter, especially with a worn-out generator, and on a number of cars with generators controlled by on-board controllers, it is not applicable in principle, since they have a noticeable delay between the moments of engine starting and voltage increase on the battery (the generator is brought into operating mode smoothly, while in classic circuits with a relay-regulator it begins to give a full charge immediately).

To check the correct connection of the tachometer signal, a test mode is provided in the alarm system, thanks to which the installer can check the functionality of the engine operation control with a “temporary tool” before the alarm circuits are fully connected.

Autorun modes

In addition to manually starting the engine (using a combination of buttons on the key fob or sending a command to the A91 connected to StarLine), the following options are available to the car owner:

1. 1. Timer Start: The car will be forced to start every 2/3/4/24 hours depending on the setting. Since the key fob timer is used for starting, such periodic starting is impossible at a significant distance.
