However, what is the fundamental difference between wardrobes? In fact, it is simply too narrow a term that has French origins: chiffonnier is the name for linen cabinets. The structure of the wardrobe is the same as that of wardrobes, but wardrobes are designed specifically for storing clothes. Therefore, this name is not suitable for a piece of furniture that contains household appliances or other things.
A wardrobe is furniture that has drawers for linen, rods with hangers, and shelves. First, decide on the purpose of the cabinet, i.e. with what exactly you will store there. To do this, we can conditionally divide it into three zones:
- Lower part for storing shoes and travel bags;
- The middle or main part, divided into zones (one for small shelves for storing everyday items, the other for storing outerwear);
- Mezzanines - for rarely used wardrobe items.
Decide on the small details you need:
- Baskets and shelves for linen and socks;
- Hangers for hangers and hooks for wrinkle-resistant clothes;

- Shelves for shoes, etc.

Decide on the dimensions for each compartment. For example, the height of the section for storing outerwear should be at least 140-150 cm, and its width at least 80 cm. It may be advisable to use a pantograph to store it, which allows you to use the ceiling part of the closet. The dimensions of the upper section should not be more than 40 cm. The height of standard shelves also varies between 40-60 cm.

You can make a completely mirrored facade, or you can use a small mirror on only one door.
