- The Venturi tube of a gas burner ensures mixing of fuel with air. During the combustion process, many small individual flames are formed without a high-temperature core. Therefore, in such gas burners the combustion temperature is significantly reduced. Flue gas temperature / chimney connection
The required pressure is for all boiler sizes a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 Pa.
For more precise adjustment and maintenance of draft in the chimney, as well as for organizing ventilation of the chimney itself, it is recommended to install and adjust an additional air regulator (draft limiter). The cross-section of the additional air regulator depends on the effective height and cross-section of the chimney.
Flue gas shut-off valve
If desired, a flue gas shut-off valve can be purchased as an additional order. A flue gas shut-off valve installed before the draft breaker is more effective than one installed after it.
Installations with underfloor heating
In floor heating systems using oxygen-permeable plastic pipes (DIN 4726), it is necessary to install a heat exchanger between the boiler and the floor heating system.
Preparing hot water
The heating boiler can work with any water heater tank. Combinations of the boiler with tanks of the Logalux ST/SU series have particular advantages.
General provisions
- For heating boilers that must be equipped with a flue gas monitoring system according to the FeuVO of the relevant federal state, accessories can be supplied
- For version B11 (without flue gas monitoring system), the boiler may only be installed in rooms that have the required ventilation to the atmosphere and also have a self-closing and sealed door, for example in boiler rooms
- For version B11 BS (with flue gas monitoring system), the heating boiler can be installed in apartments or similar places
- To ensure the functioning of the boiler, all connections must be made in the places specified for them
- When installing a gas heating boiler operating on liquefied gas below ground level, it is recommended to install a second solenoid valve. A switchgear for controlling the solenoid valve can be supplied as an option
- In installations with underfloor heating, with several heating circuits, as well as in installations with large water volumes, it is necessary to install a mixer to regulate the heating circuits, based on local operating conditions.
To ensure environmentally friendly and trouble-free operation, we recommend regular inspections of the boiler and burner.
When installing the heating boiler, the minimum distances shown (indicated in parentheses) must be observed. For ease of installation, servicing and maintenance, it is necessary to maintain the recommended distances from the walls.
The room for installing equipment must be protected from the cold and have good ventilation. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that the combustion air is not contaminated with dust or halogenated hydrocarbons. Halogenated hydrocarbons of all types are found, for example, in aerosol cans, solvents and cleaners, varnishes, paints and adhesives.

Equipped with an atmospheric burner, the Buderus Logano G234-50 WS floor-standing cast iron gas boiler with a power of 50 kW is intended for heating residential and non-residential buildings and premises with a total area of up to 500 square meters. meters (a more accurate calculation of the maximum area is carried out by designers of heating and gas supply systems). The concept of the boiler operation is such that it can operate in heating mode without maintaining the base temperature (lower temperature of the boiler water), which makes it possible to seriously optimize the entire process of system operation and seriously increase the actual efficiency of the boiler (up to 93%). If necessary, it can be converted from natural gas to liquefied gas and vice versa. To do this, it is necessary to additionally purchase an internal gas pressure monitoring device (regulator) for each physical state of the fuel. Equipped with a cast iron heat exchanger, the Buderus Logano G234-50 WS boiler is additionally equipped with Logalux water heater tanks, which are mounted next to the boiler. It is not possible to install the boiler on top of the tank. Thanks to the atmospheric burner, the requirements for gas quality indicators are reduced, which allows you to create a gas-air mixture of the required parameters even at very low pressure in the gas pipeline.
Installation and Operation Basics
The Buderus Logano G234-50 WS boiler is installed exclusively in boiler rooms and furnace rooms equipped with a window opening with an area of at least 400 sq.cm. Also, the premises must be equipped with an active ventilation and smoke duct with a cross-sectional area of 150 sq.cm, and have a room volume of at least 15 cubic meters. If a filter and (or) grille is installed on the inlet, then the cross-sectional diameter must be increased to the next standard size in the range.
It is prohibited to install the boiler in walk-through combustion chambers. Also, the room must be well protected from the cold (maximum permissible boiler operating temperature + 5°C).
