Outrageous, sexy guys, demonstrating an incredible combination of male beauty, plasticity and choreography, create a show that turns the mind.

- beautiful, pumped-up, brutal and at the same time cute boys, dancing in heels in a way that not every girl can do, caused mixed opinions among the public.

- this is a completely new, incomparable Ukrainian project. With their debut video clip “In the middle” they captivated Internet users in the first days of rotation.

- amazing male choreography, heels, provocativeness of the video itself - all this is reminiscent of the latest works of the famous Lady Gaga and, obviously, the director was to some extent inspired by these video works. However, in any case, the project represents something completely new and unique. At least for the Ukrainian and Russian music industry, and of course, this band Kazaky (Cossacks) has a great future.

KAZAKY is Oleg, Arthur, Stas and Kirill:

“Flexible, plastic, eccentric” - all these short theses most accurately describe the Ukrainian group “KAZAKY”. Four young guys were able to achieve success due to unusual dances in heels and tight sexy costumes. For 7 years now, their activities have been causing a strong reaction among viewers. Unusual Cossacks are known in every corner of the vast CIS - and this can really be called a success. In this article we will talk about Oleg Zhezhel, his biography and personal life, and also find out why the famous member of the Cossacks group decided to leave his brainchild and set off on a free voyage.

Brief biography

The biography of Oleg Zhezhel began in 1980 (October 31). The guy was born in the city of Lvov, where he spent his entire childhood, right up to entering college. As an 18-year-old boy, Oleg left his native Lvov and moved to Kyiv to seriously study dancing.

Creative path

Oleg Zhezhel showed a craving for creativity from early childhood, but the guy’s parents did not think that his path would intersect with dancing. While still a schoolboy, Oleg loved to draw. In his interviews, the showman has repeatedly said that initially the subject of his art was home furniture, which was actively painted with paints and crayons. A little later, the guy’s potential began to grow, and Oleg began to paint pictures. His whole life was before his eyes, which is why immediately after school the guy went to college to become a professional artist. It was during these short years of study that Oleg became acquainted with acrobatics, which he liked so much that he decided to continue dancing. Immediately after college, the star of the Cossacks group went to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, where large dance shows and projects are regularly held.

Professional dancing

In 1998, Oleg Zhezhel came to conquer Kyiv, where he spent a long time, receiving the status of a professional choreographer. The dancer has dozens of television projects in which he took part. For example, in 2008, Oleg took part in the TNT show “Dancing Without Rules,” where he not only received universal recognition, but also reached the finals. The guy expected the same success after the Ukrainian project “Everybody Dance!” Oleg also participated in Eurovision for dancers.

Short abstracts

  • Oleg Zhezhel is now a leading choreographer and dancer in Ukraine.
  • The guy repeatedly participates in television projects, where he plays an important role: he prepares and choreographs dances.
  • Such stars as Tina Karol, Nikolai Baskov, Seryoga, Taisiya Povaliy worked with him.
  • The guy also takes up hosting television shows.
  • He was involved in choreographing dances in Tina Karol’s videos, in the songs “Above the Clouds”, “Pupsik”. Tina Karol is a singer and TV presenter who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, where she was also assisted by Oleg Zhezhel.
  • Now the dancer is known as a former member of the Cossacks group and the producer of the unique ILYB project. Previously, the guy performed with the Ukrainian group “Dels-Art”.

History of the KAZAKY group

The sensational group was founded in 2010. Everything happened thanks to the fact that Oleg Zhezhel already had experience participating in dance shows. Therefore, Oleg, together with classmate Stas Pavlov, infiltrated the show ballet “Dels-Art”. Immediately after this, the guy invited his old friend K. Fedorenko to join the newly formed team, where they began experimenting with dancing. While the famous group was being born, a fourth dancer came to their team - Arthur Gaspar. From this moment on, “Cossacks” begin to exist and develop. Day after day, the movements were honed, and soon the well-known heels became the key to their performance.

Their team gained popularity immediately after the release of the video In the middle. After their debut in 2010, the guys began a new period in their lives, namely touring, performing, and participating in television shows. When the group's popularity began to go off scale, people in many countries were divided into two sides. One began to praise and admire the participants of the show, while the other accused the guys of promoting gays. This turning point became a test for the famous guys, because due to the general chaos, the group’s concerts were repeatedly canceled.

Is the band on the verge of breaking up?

In 2016, the media began to publish information that the group was ceasing its activities, and each participant was going his own way. It all started after Oleg Zhezhel suffered a knee injury in 2013 and was practically unable to dance. Despite this, the group starred with Madonna in the Girl Gone Wild video, but after that the number of Cossacks’ performances noticeably decreased, although their popularity only grew.

In the same year, the group suspended its activities, but all participants deny that the Cossacks will no longer exist. Rather, the members of the eccentric group decided to take a short time-out due to the negative reaction of fans and spectators to their activities. Now Oleg Zhezhel has left the group completely and continues to do choreography.

Dancer's personal life

The personal life of Oleg Zhezhel remains behind the scenes. Some believe that this guy has a non-traditional sexual orientation, while others are sure that the dancer has a girlfriend with whom he has been since his student days. At the same time, the ex-member of the group himself refuses to advertise his personal life.

New projects

Oleg’s new project, called ILYB, has been in existence for a year now. The author's project helped open a new direction in music, which combines more than 5 genres, such as pop, synth and alternative. The team is trying to introduce something truly unusual, to give people a new spirit. The project strives to ensure that everyone expresses their inner self without embarrassment.

Perhaps it was precisely this desire to fight stereotypes that led to the creation of the sensational group “Cossacks”, where young people danced in high heels, contrary to general opinion. Oleg Zhezhel is a shining example of rebellion and determination, which will help the reader move towards his intended goal, despite obstacles.

Not so long ago, “Cossacks” appeared in the Ukrainian show business and already managed to arouse disgust from the Slavic countries and the love of the European one. The thing is that four guys with a pretty good physique decided to cause a surge of emotions and revolutionize world standards, and primarily in terms of male orientation. What outraged me most was the appearance of these artists. As mentioned above, four guys of athletic athletic build with a bare torso, in leggings and heels perform on stage: they dance and sing! This caused a titanic resonance in society. They began to be discussed on every blog, they began to be talked about on every music site. Some responded well, some responded poorly. Of course, in our countries the ratio of good to bad attitude was about 1:10, but this is precisely what made the Cossacks popular! Hate breeds popularity. The number of concert offers instantly increased. And most of them were from European countries. Because there it is considered quite normal. For example, if in France you just pretend to be a homosexual, then you will break through everywhere: in work, in show business.

As already mentioned, the attitude towards the Cossacks is twofold. In Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and similar countries, most of those who hate this quartet are male. Since the stereotypes embedded in the psyche, formed on the basis of Slavic upbringing, do not allow one to come to terms with this version of a man. The female sex is more lenient towards gays, girls even somewhat like them. Therefore, the female half is, to a greater extent, the one that welcomes the Cossacks both as men and as singers. In general, the image of the Kazaky group is metrosexual. That is, it is aimed not specifically at gay men (just because of their appearance), but also at girls. But here everyone decides for themselves how to perceive these show business characters. The public was very outraged by the fact that the group was named “Kazaky”, they say, this greatly desecrates Ukrainian history. Since a Cossack is a strong warrior who loves his people and is able to repel his enemies. In this case, these are practically opposite personalities. At least according to external data and movements in videos and performances, it’s accurate.

The Cossacks have a unique style. Muscular male athletes presenting themselves as girls, wearing leggings (or in some cases black tight jeans), bare torso (at certain points there may be a cape over the shoulders and arms) and heels (high stiletto heels, platform heels, boots etc.) – this is the whole essence of the team. A memorable extravagant image is one of the highlights of the team.

Perhaps the main “trick” of the Cossacks’ performance is the dance. The group performs strip music and jazz-funk on stage. These two female dance styles formed an opinion about the guys, they say that they are not of a traditional orientation. Not every girl can move like these dancers. For example, the team leader (Arthur Gaspard) knows how to do a flag (standing on one leg, performing a perfect split, keeping the second leg strictly parallel to the second). The guys' excellent plasticity allows them to move as the styles require.

The debut of the Cossacks took place on the Internet and on music channels. The first video for the song “In The Middle” blew up the Internet. A lot of discussions, and, for the most part, condemnations, were thrown at the team. The next video outraged the public even more, as the video for the song “Love” showed more scenes of guys in leggings and heels. The third video “Dance and Change” was not long in coming. In the new video, the group starred with a new lineup (Stas Pavlov was replaced by Francesco Borgato). It contained the same tights, the same plastic and outrageous dances. The guys have succeeded so much in show business that they have even danced with Madonna herself! The Cossacks were invited to the filming of the video "Girl Gone Wild", in which they were backup dancers.

The music, of course, is made in the style of electro-pop, since the group's songs are created exclusively for dancing. The club sounds of the synthesizer, characteristic of this genre, just fit the movements performed by the Cossacks.

The extremely ambiguous impression of the group that has developed in society helps to form the image and establish the unusual image of the shocking group “Kazaky”. The dance, music and appearance of these artists characterize the guys as individuals who are not afraid to challenge society. With all their behavior and style, they somewhat help homosexuals and lesbians take their place in the sun in Slavic countries, where they are not particularly perceived as normal and full-fledged people.

KAZAKY ABOUT(INTRODUCE)
If there’s one thing that the world needs right now, it’s a hot, homoerotic Ukrainian boy band wearing high heels and little clothes. Welcome to Kazaky.

The foursome have been making waves on the web since late September thanks to their sex-soaked music video “In the Middle”, which has already garnered over 1.3 million views on Youtube. They returned just over a week ago with their Alejandro-but-better clip for their second single “Love”. The online response has been even bigger, with “Love” hitting 775,000 views in just eight days.

Kazaky can’t really sing or anything, but they were assembled by a popular Ukrainian choreographer, so they can dance their tight little backsides off. Think of them as the Eastern-European Girlicious, but a gajillion times more awesome.

Now go feast your depraved eyes on “Love” and “In the Middle” below.

KAZAKY at ANOUKI BICHOLLA Fall/Winter 2011/12
This fashion day opened with a show by designer Bicholl Tetradze, who created the collection together with the wife of ex-Dynamo player Kakha Kaladze, Anuka Arishidze. And they presented it as a bright performance. At the beginning of the fashion show, the famous show group KAZAKY - a quartet of guys singing and dancing in heels - appeared on the podium. And then the models wore bright southern clothes. Against the background of black and gray colors prevailing in other collections, the combination of orange and blue looked like a ray of sunshine.

"Kazaky"(pronounced like Cossacks listen)) is a Ukrainian men's dance group consisting of four professional dancers, founded in 2010 in Kyiv.

About the group

It all started when Stas Pavlov entered the department of modern choreography, met the already famous choreographer Oleg Zhezhel in Ukraine, became a member of his show ballet “Dels-Art” and invited his friend Kirill Fedorenko, with whom they studied together at KNUKIA, there. After some time, Arthur Gaspar joined the trio. The guys got to know each other, got to know each other and began experimenting, trying to find the style of the future group. Thus, during the experiments, the idea with heels was born, first as a joke, and later becoming famous.

However, in August, one of the participants, Stas Pavlov, decided to leave the team. He was replaced by Italian dancer and choreographer Francesco Borgato. With the new member, Kazaky presented two new music videos - “Dance and Change” and “Last Night”, the first of which was shot by famous video director Alan Badoev. The group even managed to star in the video clip of the popular American singer Madonna for her single “Girl Gone Wild”. In October 2012, the band released their debut studio album, entitled “The Hills Chronicles”.

In November 2013, due to a knee injury, Oleg Zhezhel stopped active work in the team. A year later, Stas Pavlov left the band again, and was replaced by dancer and choreographer Artemy Lazarev.

On June 4, 2016, on the group’s official Facebook page, it was announced that Kazaky would cease to exist: “We are definitely not going to tell you this sad word goodbye, because, firstly, we will still be with you, just by separately; secondly, we do not rule out that in the future we will want to get together and do something especially for you again,” former members of the group wrote on social networks."

Criticism and image

The group is often accused of promoting homosexuality, and some representatives of the Russian Cossacks believe that the name of the group insults and discredits them. In this regard, the band’s concerts were repeatedly disrupted in many cities of Russia, in particular in the Rostov region and Gelendzhik. The members themselves explained that the name of the group has nothing to do with the Cossacks, claiming that the roots of the name Kazaky are in the Japanese language.

The main elements of the group's choreography are acrobatic dance and wacking.

Excerpt characterizing Kazaky

“There is something,” thought Nikolai, and this assumption was further confirmed by the fact that Dolokhov left immediately after dinner. He called Natasha and asked what was it?
“I was looking for you,” Natasha said, running out to him. “I told you, you still didn’t want to believe,” she said triumphantly, “he proposed to Sonya.”
No matter how little Nikolai did with Sonya during this time, something seemed to come off in him when he heard this. Dolokhov was a decent and in some respects a brilliant match for the dowry-free orphan Sonya. From the point of view of the old countess and the world, it was impossible to refuse him. And therefore Nikolai’s first feeling when he heard this was anger against Sonya. He was preparing to say: “And great, of course, we must forget our childhood promises and accept the offer”; but he didn’t have time to say it yet...
– You can imagine! She refused, completely refused! – Natasha spoke. “She said she loves someone else,” she added after a short silence.
“Yes, my Sonya could not have done otherwise!” thought Nikolai.
“No matter how much my mother asked her, she refused, and I know she won’t change what she said...
- And mom asked her! – Nikolai said reproachfully.
“Yes,” said Natasha. - You know, Nikolenka, don’t be angry; but I know that you will not marry her. I know, God knows why, I know for sure, you won’t get married.
“Well, you don’t know that,” said Nikolai; – but I need to talk to her. What a beauty this Sonya is! – he added smiling.
- This is so lovely! I'll send it to you. - And Natasha, kissing her brother, ran away.
A minute later Sonya came in, frightened, confused and guilty. Nikolai approached her and kissed her hand. This was the first time on this visit that they spoke face to face and about their love.
“Sophie,” he said timidly at first, and then more and more boldly, “if you want to refuse not only a brilliant, profitable match; but he is a wonderful, noble man... he is my friend...
Sonya interrupted him.
“I already refused,” she said hastily.
- If you refuse for me, then I’m afraid that on me...
Sonya interrupted him again. She looked at him with pleading, frightened eyes.
“Nicolas, don’t tell me that,” she said.
- No, I have to. Maybe this is suffisance [arrogance] on my part, but it’s better to say. If you refuse for me, then I must tell you the whole truth. I love you, I think, more than anyone...
“That’s enough for me,” Sonya said, flushing.
- No, but I have fallen in love a thousand times and will continue to fall in love, although I do not have such a feeling of friendship, trust, love for anyone as for you. Then I'm young. Maman doesn't want this. Well, it's just that I don't promise anything. And I ask you to think about Dolokhov’s proposal,” he said, having difficulty pronouncing his friend’s last name.
- Don't tell me that. I don't want anything. I love you like a brother, and will always love you, and I don’t need anything more.
“You are an angel, I am not worthy of you, but I am only afraid of deceiving you.” – Nikolai kissed her hand again.

Yogel had the most fun balls in Moscow. This was what the mothers said, looking at their adolescentes [girls] performing their newly learned steps; this was said by the adolescentes and adolescents themselves, [girls and boys] who danced until they dropped; these grown-up girls and young men who came to these balls with the idea of condescending to them and finding the best fun in them. In the same year, two marriages took place at these balls. The two pretty princesses of the Gorchakovs found suitors and got married, and even more so they launched these balls into glory. What was special about these balls was that there was no host and hostess: there was the good-natured Yogel, like flying feathers, shuffling around according to the rules of art, who accepted tickets for lessons from all his guests; It was that only those who wanted to dance and have fun, like 13 and 14 year old girls who put on long dresses for the first time, want to go to these balls. Everyone, with rare exceptions, was or seemed pretty: they all smiled so enthusiastically and their eyes lit up so much. Sometimes even the best students danced pas de chale, of whom the best was Natasha, distinguished by her grace; but at this last ball only ecosaises, anglaises and the mazurka, which was just coming into fashion, were danced. The hall was taken by Yogel to Bezukhov’s house, and the ball was a great success, as everyone said. There were a lot of pretty girls, and the Rostov ladies were among the best. They were both especially happy and cheerful. That evening, Sonya, proud of Dolokhov’s proposal, her refusal and explanation with Nikolai, was still spinning at home, not allowing the girl to finish her braids, and now she was glowing through and through with impetuous joy.
Natasha, no less proud that she was wearing a long dress for the first time at a real ball, was even happier. Both were wearing white muslin dresses with pink ribbons.
Natasha became in love from the very minute she entered the ball. She was not in love with anyone in particular, but she was in love with everyone. The one she looked at at the moment she looked at was the one she was in love with.
- Oh, how good! – she kept saying, running up to Sonya.
Nikolai and Denisov walked around the halls, looking at the dancers affectionately and patronizingly.
“How sweet she will be,” Denisov said.
- Who?
“Athena Natasha,” answered Denisov.
“And how she dances, what a g”ation!” after a short silence, he said again.
- Who are you talking about?
“About your sister,” Denisov shouted angrily.
Rostov grinned.
– Mon cher comte; vous etes l"un de mes meilleurs ecoliers, il faut que vous dansiez,” said little Jogel, approaching Nikolai. “Voyez combien de jolies demoiselles.” [My dear Count, you are one of my best students. You need to dance. Look how much pretty girls!] – He made the same request to Denisov, also his former student.
“Non, mon cher, je fe"ai tapisse"ie, [No, my dear, I’ll sit by the wall," Denisov said. “Don’t you remember how badly I used your lessons?”
- Oh no! – Jogel said hastily consoling him. – You were just inattentive, but you had abilities, yes, you had abilities.
The newly introduced mazurka was played; Nikolai could not refuse Yogel and invited Sonya. Denisov sat down next to the old ladies and, leaning his elbows on his saber, stamping his beat, told something cheerfully and made the old ladies laugh, looking at the dancing young people. Yogel, in the first couple, danced with Natasha, his pride and best student. Gently, tenderly moving his feet in his shoes, Yogel was the first to fly across the hall with Natasha, who was timid, but diligently performing steps. Denisov did not take his eyes off her and tapped the beat with his saber, with an appearance that clearly said that he himself did not dance only because he did not want to, and not because he could not. In the middle of the figure, he called Rostov, who was passing by, to him.
“It’s not the same at all,” he said. - Is this a Polish mazurka? And she dances excellently. - Knowing that Denisov was even famous in Poland for his skill in dancing the Polish mazurka, Nikolai ran up to Natasha:
- Go and choose Denisov. Here he is dancing! Miracle! - he said.
When Natasha’s turn came again, she stood up and quickly fingering her shoes with bows, timidly, ran alone across the hall to the corner where Denisov was sitting. She saw that everyone was looking at her and waiting. Nikolai saw that Denisov and Natasha were arguing smiling, and that Denisov was refusing, but smiling joyfully. He ran up.
“Please, Vasily Dmitrich,” Natasha said, “let’s go, please.”
“Yes, that’s it, g’athena,” Denisov said.
“Well, that’s enough, Vasya,” said Nikolai.
“It’s like they’re trying to persuade Vaska the cat,” Denisov said jokingly.
“I’ll sing to you all evening,” said Natasha.
- The sorceress will do anything to me! - Denisov said and unfastened his saber. He came out from behind the chairs, firmly took his lady by the hand, raised his head and put his foot down, waiting for tact. Only on horseback and in the mazurka, Denisov’s short stature was not visible, and he seemed to be the same young man that he felt himself to be. Having waited for the beat, he glanced triumphantly and playfully at his lady from the side, suddenly tapped one of his feet and, like a ball, bounced elastically off the floor and flew along in a circle, dragging his lady with him. He silently flew halfway across the hall on one leg, and it seemed that he did not see the chairs standing in front of him and rushed straight towards them; but suddenly, clicking his spurs and spreading his legs, he stopped on his heels, stood there for a second, with the roar of spurs, knocked his feet in one place, quickly turned around and, clicking his right foot with his left foot, again flew in a circle. Natasha guessed what he intended to do, and, without knowing how, she followed him - surrendering herself to him. Now he circled her, now on his right, now on his left hand, now falling on his knees, he circled her around himself, and again he jumped up and ran forward with such swiftness, as if he intended to run across all the rooms without taking a breath; then suddenly he stopped again and again made a new and unexpected knee. When he, briskly spinning the lady in front of her place, snapped his spur, bowing before her, Natasha did not even curtsey for him. She stared at him in bewilderment, smiling as if she didn’t recognize him. - What is this? - she said.
Despite the fact that Yogel did not recognize this mazurka as real, everyone was delighted with Denisov’s skill, they began to constantly choose him, and the old people, smiling, began to talk about Poland and the good old days. Denisov, flushed from the mazurka and wiping himself with a handkerchief, sat down next to Natasha and did not leave her side throughout the entire ball.

For two days after this, Rostov did not see Dolokhov with his people and did not find him at home; on the third day he received a note from him. “Since I no longer intend to visit your house for reasons known to you and am going to the army, this evening I am giving my friends a farewell party - come to the English hotel.” Rostov, at 10 o'clock, from the theater, where he was with his family and Denisov, arrived at the English hotel on the appointed day. He was immediately taken to the best room of the hotel, occupied for that night by Dolokhov. About twenty people crowded around the table, in front of which Dolokhov was sitting between two candles. There was gold and banknotes on the table, and Dolokhov was throwing a bank. After Sonya's proposal and refusal, Nikolai had not yet seen him and was confused at the thought of how they would meet.

THANK YOU so much for the very useful information in the article. Everything is presented very clearly. It feels like a lot of work has been done to analyze the operation of the eBay store

    • Thank you and other regular readers of my blog. Without you, I would not be motivated enough to dedicate much time to maintaining this site. My brain is structured this way: I like to dig deep, systematize scattered data, try things that no one has done before or looked at from this angle. It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

What is valuable in your articles is your personal attitude and analysis of the topic. Don't give up this blog, I come here often. There should be a lot of us like that. Email me I recently received an email with an offer that they would teach me how to trade on Amazon and eBay. And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet. I wish you good luck and stay safe in Asia.

  • It’s also nice that eBay’s attempts to Russify the interface for users from Russia and the CIS countries have begun to bear fruit. After all, the overwhelming majority of citizens of the countries of the former USSR do not have strong knowledge of foreign languages. No more than 5% of the population speak English. There are more among young people. Therefore, at least the interface is in Russian - this is a big help for online shopping on this trading platform. eBay did not follow the path of its Chinese counterpart Aliexpress, where a machine (very clumsy and incomprehensible, sometimes causing laughter) translation of product descriptions is performed. I hope that at a more advanced stage of development of artificial intelligence, high-quality machine translation from any language to any in a matter of seconds will become a reality. So far we have this (the profile of one of the sellers on eBay with a Russian interface, but an English description):
