Good day/evening/night everyone!)))

Today I’ll tell you about one of the key assistants in my kitchen. Hob GEFEST 2231-01 K3!

It was purchased last summer, a little over a year ago. Since there was no great knowledge on how to choose a hob, the main criteria were modern appearance and price. Also, the gas panel should have been gas, since it is cheaper to operate. And the surface material is glass. According to my personal impressions, it is quite easy to care for.

This is how the GEFEST 2231-01 K3 hob was purchased. There were no reviews for it at all at that time. Looking through information about it now, I came across 1 negative review with one star, which I completely disagree with. In this review it is written that the panel heats up the countertop very much, but I don’t have this at all and in the photographs in that review the panel looks different. Maybe there are some modifications, I don't know.

Pros. Or why I love this Hephaestus cooktop so much.

1. Modern appearance appearance. I like the color choice: black and silver. Heavy cast iron grates look expensive.

2. Security. It is impossible to turn it on accidentally. If you simply turn the knob (which children can do), the gas will shut off and nothing will happen. The fact is that the burner has a temperature sensor. Only when a certain temperature is reached is gas supplied. If you simply turned the knob, but there was no spark and the fire did not ignite, then the gas is shut off. The same thing happens if porridge soup escapes from the pan. The fire goes out, the sensor cools down and the gas is shut off.

This may cause minor inconveniences. For example, you washed a pan and put it wet on the stove. Water flows from it onto the sensor. Accordingly, when you turn the knob, you will need to keep the auto-ignition on longer for the sensor to dry out.

And also, when you turn on the burner, you need to keep the auto-ignition on for a couple of seconds. Especially on the smallest burner. The sensor needs time to warm up.

A small price to pay for lack of passion, I think. Besides, you get used to it very quickly.

3. Auto-ignition. Well, everything is clear here.

4. Convenient grilles. Above the smallest burner, the grate goes crosswise, not in a circle. Thanks to the designers. This is very convenient when you brew coffee in a small pot. The photo shows how well the Turk stood over the fire. I had a hard time with the previous panel, when the Turk kept trying to topple over.

5. WOK burner. Convenient when you need to cook something quickly. Boil water, for example. I don’t use it often, but sometimes it helps in the evening after work.

6. Price relative to imported analogues.

Disadvantages of the Gefest 2231-01 K3 hob.

1. The part where the burner begins is difficult to clean. There's a corner there. For example, my jam escaped and burned. It is impossible to get sweet, burnt jam out of this corner with an ordinary sponge. In such cases, an old toothbrush and stove cleaner from Faberlic come to the rescue. The most powerful thing I've tried. If it doesn’t cope, then nothing will help.

2. You need to get used to electric ignition. At first it seems like a long wait.

This was my first time visiting this store. I ordered household appliances for the kitchen. Only for the kitchen!!! The next day I had to change the delivery time, they made the changes without any problems and informed me that delivery would be when it was convenient for me. Delivered at the appointed time, there were no complaints about the order or execution. The quality of service is excellent! I recommend this store for shopping.

At HouseBT I decided to choose a watch on the strong recommendation of friends) My eyes were simply wide-eyed from the huge selection, but I was not at a loss and called the specified hotline number. The consultant helped me choose a wonderful cube - the Irit IR-600 table clock, I can’t get enough of it for a month now! Before ordering, I looked at the prices for these watches in other stores - they were about the same, but in this store they were still lower than everyone else) Delivery is fast, thanks for the work!

Promptly inform about the status of the order and its receipt for pickup. I liked that they warned me about the need to pay for delivery in cash. Thanks to this, there were no unexpected surprises.
Pleasant employee when issuing orders, attentive. A small request - please add the operating hours of the pick-up point to the SMS notification! That would be absolutely convenient!)))

I was pleased with the store, I bought a Philips iron at a price that was a third less than in other stores, all at the office. guarantee, I recommend taking it from them, I picked it up by pick-up, yes, it costs 50 rubles, but you can pick it up from different parts of Moscow, as convenient for you. An employee checked the iron on site, the communication was very polite and inviting, everyone would like to work like this at their jobs)))

THANK YOU so much for the very useful information in the article. Everything is presented very clearly. It feels like a lot of work has been done to analyze the operation of the eBay store

    • Thank you and other regular readers of my blog. Without you, I would not have been motivated enough to dedicate much time to maintaining this site. My brain is structured this way: I like to dig deep, systematize scattered data, try things that no one has done before or looked at from this angle. It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

What is valuable in your articles is your personal attitude and analysis of the topic. Don't give up this blog, I come here often. There should be a lot of us like that. Email me I recently received an email with an offer that they would teach me how to trade on Amazon and eBay. And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet. I wish you good luck and stay safe in Asia.

  • It’s also nice that eBay’s attempts to Russify the interface for users from Russia and the CIS countries have begun to bear fruit. After all, the overwhelming majority of citizens of the countries of the former USSR do not have strong knowledge of foreign languages. No more than 5% of the population speak English. There are more among young people. Therefore, at least the interface is in Russian - this is a big help for online shopping on this trading platform. eBay did not follow the path of its Chinese counterpart Aliexpress, where a machine (very clumsy and incomprehensible, sometimes causing laughter) translation of product descriptions is performed. I hope that at a more advanced stage of development of artificial intelligence, high-quality machine translation from any language to any in a matter of seconds will become a reality. So far we have this (the profile of one of the sellers on eBay with a Russian interface, but an English description):
