For a clear understanding of all aspects of the work, we suggest you watch a video on the topic of making lilies of the valley from bottles:

To decorate your garden or local area You don't have to buy expensive garden sculptures. Sometimes it is enough to make lilies of the valley from plastic bottles or other interesting crafts. They will withstand frost and heat, wind and rain, and will cost almost nothing. Also available suitable option and for home decoration.

Master classes: lilies of the valley from plastic bottles

Option 1

Materials and tools: metal rods, wire, small white plastic bottles according to the number of cups of lilies of the valley, a nail or awl for punching holes in the lids, a large 5-liter green plastic container.

It is necessary to give the pins a natural curved appearance, like the stems and leaves of lilies of the valley, and then cover them with dark green enamel paint. Next you need to dig the rods to a depth of 15-20 cm, additionally compact the earth for better stability. For interesting composition you will need at least 6-7 pins: 3 long for stems and 3-4 short for leaves.

We cut out leaves for lilies of the valley from a 5-liter bottle plastic container so that you get several wide symmetrical leaves, straight and folded in the form right angle.

Now you need to take all the covers that will play the role of the core of the flower, and use a hot nail or awl to make two holes each. You need to thread a metal wire through them and tie it to a pin, additionally dropping a drop at the junction of the wire and the rod epoxy glue.

White plastic bottles are cut in half, and then a lily of the valley bell skirt is cut out of the top. All sharp cuts are treated with a candle flame. The cut out petals need to be slightly warmed over a candle to bend the edges up. Now all that remains is to screw the flowers to the lid on the rod, and lilies of the valley from plastic bottles are ready!

Here you can endlessly vary the size of flowers and leaves, their shape and number on the rod. You can even make unusual hot pink or blue “bells”. This is all at the discretion of the author. Can be attached to inside The lids have small bells so that even with a slight wind a light chime can be heard.

Option 2

The previous option, due to its massiveness and materials used, looks good at a distance of 2-3 meters. But for home you need to make a more delicate bouquet. To create it, you will need scissors, a 1.5-liter green plastic bottle, and foam balls the size of a large pea or smaller.

Cut off the neck of the bottle so that the bottom and a flat part about 15 cm high remain. Using a marker, mark 5 vertical lines 10 cm long, the result should be 6 equal parts. From each part you need to cut out a leaf of lily of the valley and many stems for “bells” with pointed edges. Styrofoam balls are strung on them, creating the appearance of real lilies of the valley. The result is a bouquet located immediately on the finished vase. If you wish and have free time, you can heat each stem a little and twist it into a spiral to make everything even neater and more natural.

Now you know how to make lilies of the valley from plastic bottles. You can decorate your house and front garden with them, then these little “children of spring” will be with you all year round!

They become increasingly valuable, because in the end they turn out unique items, which cannot be found in any store. Such fruits of one's own manual labor can be used anywhere, the exterior of the house is no exception.

Lilies of the valley will perfectly decorate the garden, and plastic bottles will be used to make them. There are several ways to turn an idea into reality. The first option involves the use of 3 steel rods, 20 opaque products white made of plastic and 6 meters of reliable thread. Green paint will help decorate the entire structure in the toga. Bottles should not be rid of caps; they will also come in handy.

The first version of making lilies of the valley

The bottles should be cut so that their central part forms teeth, the bottom should be removed, and upper part will form a flower bud. Each lid should have 2 holes, which are useful in order to be able to thread a thread through them. You should cut pieces of thread so that each of them is 30 cm long. The thread must be tied, leaving its ends free.

Now comes the turn of the steel rods, which need to be bent, coated with paint, and then bottles are tied to them using threads, which also need to be painted. At this point, the lilies of the valley are ready for installation on the site near the house. The design will look more elegant if it is supplemented with leaves, for which any material can be used. You can use it for this garden mats.

The second option for making lilies of the valley

This time the work will involve using wire, the same bottles and wrapping, which can be replaced with tape to decorate bouquets of flowers.

The composition will be based on a wire frame. The frame will be presented in the form of stems, onto which the bud blanks, cut in advance from a plastic base, should be attached. The resulting frame should be wrapped with existing green tape.

Great option, which will allow you to replace tape and make the structure more durable, will be a method of painting elements in green, during which you can use enamel. This will protect the frame flower arrangement from external influences sun rays and precipitation. And on winter period the flowers do not need to be removed, which will make the snow-white carpet in the garden more attractive.

By using skillful hands and imagination can transform any interior. Our children can be wonderful helpers in this matter. In this article we will talk about how to make lilies of the valley from plastic bottles.

To make lilies of the valley we will need:

  • one and a half or two liter plastic bottle (for example, lemonade);
  • white half-liter bottles of kefir or drinking yogurt;
  • wire (it’s better to take thick and thinner ones) electrical tape;
  • toilet paper;
  • PVA glue;
  • acrylic paints and brush;
  • pliers;
  • an awl and a stationery knife.

For the base we need a pot filled with pebbles.

1. First you need to cut the wire into pieces. From the thicker wire we cut 3 pieces of length 110, 85 and 60 cm. From the thinner wire - 15 pieces about 10 cm long.

2. Take kefir bottles and cut them in half.

3. Then we cut out petals on them.

4. Bend the petals outward using heated over gas burner pliers Do not heat the pliers for too long, otherwise the plastic will melt. It is enough to just hold them near the fire for a few seconds.

5. The result is a flower blank.

6. Pierce the bottle cap in the middle with an awl.

7. Take a piece thin wire and round it on one side to form a loop.

8. Insert the loop into the hole in the kefir lid so that the loop remains inside.

9. Using electrical tape, attach the free tail to a thick wire so that approximately 15 cm remains from its end.

10. Repeat steps No. 1 - 8 for all 11 white bottles. We attach all flower blanks to the main wire branch as follows: on a long wire - leave 25 cm from the end and attach 4 flowers. On medium and short ones, leave 15 cm from the end and attach 4 and 3 flowers, respectively.

11. Take a large plastic bottle and draw 4 long petals on it with a marker.

12. Cut out the petals from the bottle.

13. Twist the free ends of the wire together, insert them into the hole for draining water into the flower pots and pebbles. The level of the pebbles should be slightly lower than the sides of the pots.

14. We spread the wire branches in different directions.

15. Take the remaining ten-centimeter pieces of wire and make a loop at one end, as for attaching flowers. Take a piece of toilet paper and wrap it tightly around the loop to form a small ball. Then, take a piece of toilet paper about 15 cm long, place it on the resulting ball, crumple it a little in the center and press it down, twist the remaining part along the free end of the wire.

16. It turns out to be a bud.

17. Repeat step No. 15 four times and get 4 buds.

18. Using electrical tape, attach the buds to the branches with lily of the valley flowers.

19. Wrapping toilet paper all three wire branches.

20. Glue the wrapped branches with glue.

21. Let the glue dry and paint the entire branches and kefir lids on top of it with green acrylic paint.

22. Our lilies of the valley are almost ready. Let the paint dry for a couple of hours.

23. Paint all 11 lily of the valley flowers and 4 buds with white paint. Let it dry.

24. Paint the leaves with green paint, leave them to dry and insert them into the pebbles.

Such wonderful lilies of the valley have grown and blossomed in our house! And so, just like in a real forest, beautiful butterflies and granny box bugs flew to our flowers. Such flowers will never wither and will always remind you of summer.

    THANK YOU so much for the very useful information in the article. Everything is presented very clearly. It feels like a lot of work has been done to analyze the operation of the eBay store

    • Thank you and other regular readers of my blog. Without you, I would not be motivated enough to dedicate much time to maintaining this site. My brain is structured this way: I like to dig deep, systematize scattered data, try things that no one has done before or looked at from this angle. It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

        What is valuable in your articles is your personal attitude and analysis of the topic. Don't give up this blog, I come here often. There should be a lot of us like that. Email me I recently received an email with an offer that they would teach me how to trade on Amazon and eBay. And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet. I wish you good luck and stay safe in Asia.

  • It’s also nice that eBay’s attempts to Russify the interface for users from Russia and the CIS countries have begun to bear fruit. After all, the overwhelming majority of citizens of the countries of the former USSR do not have strong knowledge of foreign languages. No more than 5% of the population speak English. There are more among young people. Therefore, at least the interface is in Russian - this is a big help for online shopping on this trading platform. eBay did not follow the path of its Chinese counterpart Aliexpress, where a machine (very clumsy and incomprehensible, sometimes causing laughter) translation of product descriptions is performed. I hope that at a more advanced stage of development of artificial intelligence, high-quality machine translation from any language to any in a matter of seconds will become a reality. So far we have this (the profile of one of the sellers on eBay with a Russian interface, but an English description):
