Evgeny Kharkov, a Moscow lawyer, left a well-paid but unloved job and decided to make furniture for dogs and cats with his own hands. As a result, after a couple of months he began to earn even more than at his previous job.
IDEA."I am a lawyer. Six months ago I realized that for moral and ethical reasons I didn’t want to move in this direction anymore,” says Evgeniy. “And then I thought: what to do next?”
His pets helped him make the decision: a cat and three dogs (two Jack Russell terriers and a mongrel). By the way, he saved two animals from death. He took the cat from friends who wanted to euthanize the animal. And Evgeniy found the mongrel as a blind puppy in the park. This is how Evgeniy came up with the idea for his project - to make sunbeds for sale. He quit his job and started a page on Facebook, where he posted his work. For the first ten days there were no orders.
“Terrible days, I was close to posting my resume on the Internet while looking for a job,” he recalls.

The frame is painted with water-based varnish, so it is odorless. The master also specially selected the fabric for mattresses and pillows, for example, modern skyvelvet. INCOME. Now the master sells 30 loungers a month, plus bowls and mattresses, but he doesn’t intend to stop there. Plans include the production of leather collars, lightweight plywood kennels for home use, and soft shoulder bags in which small dogs can be carried. Eugene was again inspired to create these things by his pets.
“My startup is dictated by my love for animals,” says Evgeniy. “And, of course, you need to be confident in yourself, and everything will work out.” The project began to bring in its first profit 2.5 months after the start. Now it is fully paid for and gives Evgeniy the opportunity to earn more than when he worked as a lawyer.
