If the security mode is successfully activated, the car's turn signals should blink once, and the siren will emit a sound signal. The pager should emit one melodic signal. Programming the anti-theft function

The control elements - key fobs - of all alarms in this list are structurally similar to each other. One of them is equipped with a feedback function with the machine and a liquid crystal display, the second serves only to issue commands. Despite this, the buttons on both key fobs in all of the listed alarms are duplicated and perform the same functions.

There are 3 of them in total. Button 1 is equipped with a pattern in the form of a closed padlock, button 2 is marked with an open padlock, button 3 is designated Prog in different models. or AUX.

The exception is the FX-8 model, where button 1 is marked as an open-close lock, button 2 has a pictogram in the form of a profile of a car with an open hood.

KGB autostart in different models starts in an almost identical way, only some alarms have an alternative mode.

Please note: the warm-up time for diesel engine spark plugs in all models is programmed by the owner at his own discretion. It can be set to 4, 6 or 10 seconds. If the warm-up mode is turned on for a gasoline engine, the time is always standard - 4 seconds.

How to start the car?

Starting a car from the key fob varies slightly across different models. For example, the FX-5 alarm has two options for this: from the main and from the additional key fob (on the main one you can use any of them of your choice).

• 1 way: On the main key fob you need to select the “Start” icon and press key II.
• Method 2: Press the I key on any key fob for at least 3 seconds.

Attempts to start are accompanied by light and sound signals.

On the FX-7, remote start is carried out by the following command: holding button 1 until the sound signal sounds, and confirming the operation by pressing button 3. Successful start is also confirmed by light and sound signals from the car and from the key fob.

To remotely start your car with the FX-8, you need to take the same steps as with the FX-5. Only the icons on the buttons differ.

The FX-10's remote start is exactly the same as the FX-7's. The engine starts in the same way on the G-5 model. But the GX-5RS modification has differences: first you need to press the button with a closed lock (the first button) and hold it until a beep sounds, and then confirm the operation by pressing the same key once.

Please note: the remote start only works for a short time - 10, 20, 30 minutes - or without a time limit. The engine operating time in this mode is programmed individually.

By temperature and time

You can set a car with any of the described alarms to autostart based on temperature or time. Temperature-based autostart on the FX-5 occurs when the ambient air temperature drops to -5, -10, -20 or -30 degrees Celsius. The specific value is programmed by the owner.

Installation is carried out only from the main key fob. You must select the Start icon with a thermometer on the display and press button II. The thermometer icon will appear and the temperature value at which the motor will automatically start.

Similarly, only using the Start icon with a checkmark, a timed start is carried out. The system remembers what time the first launch occurred, and all subsequent ones will be performed at the same time.

The actions on the FX-8 are completely similar.

On FX-7, F-10, G-5, GX-5RS, to set autostart based on temperature, you need to press and hold button 3 until the key fob emits 1 long and 1 short signal. After this, you need to sequentially select the Temp icon. Start. Confirm your selection with 1 key. The base temperature at which the engine will turn on automatically is -10 degrees; it can be changed by sequentially enumerating the values.

Setting autorun by time is carried out in exactly the same way, only the icon with a “checkmark” is selected. You can disable autorun using the same principle, only button 2 is used for confirmation - “open lock”.

The starter cranking time in each model is set by the owner of the car in the range of values ​​from 0.8 to 3.6 seconds. Time can be determined by the operation of the generator or tachometer.

Shutdown

It is also possible to turn off the engine using a command from the key fob. To do this, in the FX-5 and FX-8 modifications, you must press and hold button 1 until a four-time light and sound signal is heard - the engine is turned off, the security mode is on. To stop the engine and disarm the security, after holding 1 button for a long time, press it once.

To turn off the engine in a car equipped with FX-7, FX-10 and G-5 alarms, you must press and hold the second button until the sound signal sounds, and confirm the command by pressing key 3. On the GX-5RS, a similar order to the car is given by pressing and holding + repeat by pressing 2 keys - “unlock”.

Reasons for refusal

If the remote or start does not work, then one of the possible reasons could be:

• open hood;
• ignition on;
• pressed brake pedal (for cars with automatic transmission);
• handbrake is off.

In addition, the warm-up time for the spark plugs may not be programmed or selected incorrectly (relevant for diesel engines) or the type of gearbox may not be set - for a car with a “mechanics” it is necessary to cut the black wire loop in the wiring harness of the central unit. Eliminate these shortcomings and the system will work.
