If your daughter is interested in ballet, then bring elements of what she loves into the design of the children's room.

The ballerina theme to some extent overlaps with the sports theme, the dance theme and the theme. It is based on the predominance of white and soft pink colors, sparkles, the fluidity of silk, the lightness of chiffon and organza.

It just seems that it’s difficult to let your imagination run wild within the topic. You can play up not only paraphernalia (ballet tutus, pointe shoes, tiaras), but also individual ballet productions (the most famous, of course, “Swan Lake”), and the theater as a whole.

Room for newborns

Someone decorates their daughter's room in ballet style when she was just born. Naturally, we are not talking about the girl’s interests yet; the mother’s tastes are decisive. But look how beautiful it turns out!

And the next room is generally the height of design thought! (But it won’t be cheap either! Just look at a custom-made crib in the shape of a swan...)

Little ballerina's room

Walls

White, pink, mauve, pastel pink, purple, soft cream colors are all suitable for a little ballerina's room. The walls can be plain or with a light pattern (stripes, umbrellas, roses).

If it is difficult to find thematic wallpaper, then you can choose wall stickers in the shape of silhouettes of ballerinas - graceful and light.

And, of course, posters and pictures. This is a universal option because you can quickly remove it if your daughter’s priorities change.

Furniture, fittings and textiles

The headboard of the bed can be decorated with a crown or a fresco. If you wish, you can hang a canopy made of light tulle and decorate it with ribbons, bows, pearls, and silk roses.

The mirror is an integral part of a ballerina’s life (it is at the barre in front of the mirror that she spends a lot of time). A great option is to make part of the free wall mirrored. But this option is not suitable for everyone.

It’s easier: take an ordinary mirror, but decorate it beautifully. You can make a drapery, decorate a feather boa, and stick notes around it.

Your child loves ballet, which means this interior in the style of a ballet studio is suitable for your daughter.

Photo 2 – Paintings of great ballerinas

Pictures of great ballerinas give a feeling of confidence in your child. To increase the illusion of a ballet theme, the ideal solution is to create an imitation of a ballet studio, nothing superfluous and only specificity and modesty, which is inherent in a ballerina.

A real ballerina is completely dedicated to her work, focused and very careful, these are exactly the traits that your favorite ballerina has, this is your daughter!

The main thing is to think about the lighting in a ballet theme: a lampshade in the shape of ballet skirts, a chandelier decorated with unique ballet accessories, namely small pointe shoes.

The inside of the lampshade can be decorated with rhinestones and pendants for sophistication and shine.

Photo 4 - Style and color in the design of a ballet studio

All the lights in the nursery can be decorated in the same style and color. Built-in ceiling lights are made in the form of huge precious stones, like a chandelier in the Louvre or in the queen's palace.

The light is projected in sparkling reflections, creating the illusion of theatrical brilliance and sparkle.

Wall lights match the color of the curtains and are placed above the crib for reading.

Considering the opinion of the lovely ballerina, choose pastels in light or pale colors, in pink, lilac or milky shades. To paint the walls, choose ivory or one shade from the bed. A light creamy shade against the background of the color scheme is ideal for furniture.

If the area of the room is small, arrange the details of the room so that the bedroom looks quite functional.

Make double-glazed windows in the French style, decorate them with Roman blinds. It is also necessary not to forget about the workspace for studying and studying. The desk should be comfortable and of high quality, and also have height regulation, which indicates proper posture, which is important for a ballerina.

It is also necessary to supplement the room with mirror panels and mirrors directly, which will allow you to get more volume in the room, and most importantly, the ballerina will be able to monitor her plasticity and control her movements.

Install a closet opposite the windows, which will visually increase the space of the bedroom and add light due to the effect of mirrors. The closet should have space for both clothes and books.

Photo 7 - Thematic drawings using stencils in the form of ballet accessories

Near the closet, place a chest of drawers for toys, which should always be at hand, or a bedside table. The chest of drawers or nightstand should blend in perfectly, so choose a light, creamy color for it. It also doesn’t hurt to add some zest to the bedroom and apply designs on the chest of drawers using stencils in the form of ballet accessories - tutus, tiaras, ballet costumes, ballet shoes. You can decorate the dresser handles with rhinestones.

Photo 8 - Poster with exercises for a little ballerina

An important part of the bedroom should be the machine opposite the mirror; for the convenience of this combination, in order to enlarge the room, make the machine built into the wall along with the mirror.

And only after all these transformations will the little ballerina become truly great not only in the ballet studio, but also at home!

Interior decor is a great opportunity to create your dream home, embodying your ideas about aesthetics, ergonomics and comfort. It includes many ways to decorate the interior: painting walls and furniture; stone and forged elements; stained glass; carved decor; decorations made of macrame and hand embroidery; flower arrangements and much more.

THANK YOU so much for the very useful information in the article. Everything is presented very clearly. It feels like a lot of work has been done to analyze the operation of the eBay store

    • Thank you and other regular readers of my blog. Without you, I would not be motivated enough to dedicate much time to maintaining this site. My brain is structured this way: I like to dig deep, systematize scattered data, try things that no one has done before or looked at from this angle. It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

What is valuable in your articles is your personal attitude and analysis of the topic. Don't give up this blog, I come here often. There should be a lot of us like that. Email me I recently received an email with an offer that they would teach me how to trade on Amazon and eBay.

  • And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area
I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet.
